I agree! I'll tell what it is also, people see that the scores have declined and since this is the first time with the new format of 25 experimental questions it's easy to point the finger at that being the reason why. It may or may not be the reason, we honestly don't know because there are a lot of factors that go into this. Next thing you'll know they'll be saying that scores have been declining because the US allows lead in its paint and its making us dumber.Gully1990 wrote:Honestly it is what it is!! The scores have declined since 2015. At the end of the day we won't know until the list comes out. As a retailer I can't afford to worry. I would lose my mind.

I know it's early, but is anyone else starting to get a little nervous? Mine comes in waves.

My nerves really kicked in once I started seeing other states release their scores._cant_deal wrote:I know it's early, but is anyone else starting to get a little nervous? Mine comes in waves.

It is normal to feel nervous. Just remember no matter what it's out of your hands and you did everything you could do! I would say don't stress but I know it's hard not to stress lol

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
They posted the anticipated release date announcement today. Even though it was in our instructions packet. But it just means the day is getting closer

May 1st... Traditionally they have released a little earlier than the "anticipated" date, right? So are we still hoping for April 28th?
March was fine... but I'm really getting anxious now...

I think so too, the 28th is what I have been planning on, they might even jump the gun and release on the 27th since they are normally released on a Thursday! I'm a retaker and I was so anxious the week leading up to results, and everyday just seemed to drag... this time I planned a vacation for the 10 days prior to the release to get my mind off of it!Gully1990 wrote:I believe the 28th is the day! I've heard this Thursday thing, as well. Is there any precedent for two days before the anticipated release date?

I never even noticed that it's been on a Thursday! I'm a repeater as well. And last time I took it in July 2015 they released on a Thursday!maztastic247 wrote:I think so too, the 28th is what I have been planning on, they might even jump the gun and release on the 27th since they are normally released on a Thursday! Watch the Twitter posts of Supreme Court Justice Willett. He will tweet about when the results will be posted.

Anyone see the Mississippi scores?

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Because their scores are listed in order of applicant number, I suspect that the top of the list is retakers.bbran340 wrote:Anyone see the Mississippi scores?

Mississippi reuses applicant numbers for retakers and they assign applicant numbers in order, and they list results in order of applicant number. Therefore it looks horrible if you read top to bottom, but not as bad if you read bottom to top.
Looking at past results, 11087 (on the second page) appears to be the first of the first-time takers listed, and 10961 appears to be the first of the second-time takers listed. Given that information, it appears that the pass rate was:
first-time takers - 57% (21/37)
second-time takers - 26% (6/23)
third-or-more-time takers - 15% (4/27)
(Note that my numbers don't account for people who were first-time takers in Feb 2016 but skipped the July exam, so there might have been some second-time takers included in my third-time taker numbers).

I am not sure too... but I guess it is by e-mail. You might need to access your account to check about the results. This is just a guess since it is my first time to take this exam as well.haro wrote:How will we receive results? Mail, email, list posted on Bar website?

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
They will upload a letter to your ATLAS account (an email will be sent to your email notifying you of this) also a list of passing names will be posted on the BLE website. I hear they also send out letters... I'm not sure if just those that pass get letters, as I did not get one last time I assume that is the case.haro wrote:How will we receive results?
