Mail came today (in brookline, a few miles from the SJC) and no letter. I wonder if people who passed went out in a first batch?

Based on my obsessive TLS research leading into this, people had the same thought last year and it was debunked with a call to the SJC. Apparently they said them all out at once.bro2baseball wrote:Mail came today (in brookline, a few miles from the SJC) and no letter. I wonder if people who passed went out in a first batch?

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
Woohoo! Passed from Jamaica Plain!! BOMBED the midterm with a 75/200. Got my ass in gear and put in 14 hr days and just barely passed with 131.7 and 141.85 MBE and essays respectively and finished with rounded score of 274. Not a study plan I would EVER reccomend (I was working too), the anxiety of procrastination was not worth it haha...

Thanks for the info. I hope that's correct not a good feeling to be waiting until Monday when so many others know (and right down the street too)hadisious wrote:Based on my obsessive TLS research leading into this, people had the same thought last year and it was debunked with a call to the SJC. EDIT: I'm an idiot. Just realized I put down my permanent address (parent's house) on the application. So I'll find out when the mail arrives in New Hampshire whether or not it's coming today.

Just got my score over in Rhode Island. PASSED!
Got a 154 scaled MBE and definitely thought I bombed it...so much so that I cried after walking out of the exam room.

Passed in Back Bay!!!
Really bombed the MBE though--not too hopeful about passing in my second state.

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
Passed in Southern New Hampshire!
149.2 on MBE and 152.81 on Essay.
I scored 139 on the Themis MBE midterm. I left the exam on MBE day feeling pretty horrible, moreso about the A.M. section. I did not notice the string of D answers that others seemed to notice. I felt very good about the essays.
Good luck to everyone else that is waiting!

Passed in Providence!
Was much more confident in my essays than the MBE, but ended up with a slightly better MBE score. I think in general people end up doing better on the multiple choice than they think.

144/133. Funny thing is, I thought I bombed the MBE and nailed the essays. Shows what I know...

Passed. Felt terrible leaving the MBE. Barbri midterm was a 151. Scaled MBE of 176. I think the guesses end up more educated than we think. Congrats to everyone!

Mail delivered in Pittsburgh and no letter. Guess I find out with the public on Monday. This system is as absurd as it is infuriating.

BarBri midterm was 115.
And like I said, felt more confident about the essays leaving the exam.

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
Didn't take a bar prep course- 135 MBE and 153 essay. I definitely felt more confident about the essays. Multiple choice is not my strong suit, clearly.ReachTheBar79 wrote:The people who passed.....what were your scores on the actual exam and the midterm?

Exam scores were 149 MBE, 169 essays. I thought the MBE was super hard.

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
Here I am thinking I'd get something in the mail today (I'm in South Florida), but then someone in Brookline didn't get it, so I guess I'll get it by New Years? It's 89 degrees though, so I can't complain that much I guess.
Does anyone know what time of day the results will be posted Monday? I don't want to be Command+R'ing at 5AM for no reason.....

PASSED in Hoboken, NJ. Amazed at how fast the mail traveled.

I am in Waltham (20 minutes outside Boston) and still haven't gotten anything. This is legitimate torture.

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
passed! got the letter on Friday in the South End. Got a 159/171. I think that was right about where my MBE midterm was, but I thought I bombed it after day one so I put insane effort into the essays the next day. Did 95% of the Barbri course.
