Hmm, as far as I can tell, Kaplan doesn't have "assignments" after the 12th. It's a full practice MBE, a full practice state test, and then open after that to direct our own study... I mean I definitely plan to spend some of the days between then and the test doing a bunch of essays in a row, but I don't think it's specifically assigned?

Barbri has assignment all the way up till the day before the Bar. But we just had our full day simulation this week. I don't think we have another full simulation beside a refresher.

+1. me too.

I remember from the first day, Barbri says that 100% passing rate for those who complete 75% of the assigned materials
I wonder what percentage of people completed that much of the assigned material, though.
i asked my barbri rep for stats on my school, it was about a third of barbri enrolees last year.

I'm at 48%, DC, average is 28%, 71% assigned. Folks at my firm tell me that there are people passing with mid 40s completed and in the end if you make it past 60ish I should be good, but my MPQ/Studysmart/MBE question scores are inconsistent and it's causing a fair amount of anxiety. I've written all the graded essays but not the other essays.

I did do nearly all of the homework assigned though. Just a few AMPs to get through. I think I'm assigned something ridiculous like 114 and I'm down to 34.

I've been doing Emmanual and Crtic so I'm not overly concerned, but it's crazy that the average is in the 20s.

edit: Also I just hit 51

I'm now at 52/75%. Peers at 53%. I actually put the pedal down this weekend and passed my peers, but then was lazy this morning and got overtaken again.

NY:
ME: 63%
Mean; 43%
Assigned: 69%

My 6% are the videos reviewing the sample 200 MBE test. I probably won't complete them ever because I just read the answer key instead.

Exactly the same stats here. Those videos weren't 6%, though, so you must be missing some other stuff. They were only 2%. Ironically, the simulated MBE itself seems not to have counted against our percentage complete at all.

As of right now for Illinois.

Assigned: 72%
Current: 65%
Average: 47%

Making progress in catching up on essays up until the simulated essays day. I.e. overdue are essays from the simulated essay days till today, the simulated essay day itself, and 1 overdue MPT that I am just too lazy to tackle. About 17 assignments outstanding atm. But all caught up on lectures, simulated MBE, and MPQs.

My plan is to hopefully knock out more essays today.

Just checked...It's also some MPTs that I am intentionally ignoring. Whoops.

I cannot get myself to do those. at all. I think the biggest thing will be managing time anyways, right? at least that's how I'm justifying it.

I figure those are things that I can do next week. I figure just going over the format/required bullshit (headers, etc), and then making sure to remember IRRAC and reading over some samples should be enough.

Next week is a good time to do them...

It's officially the week of the Bar (or at least it will be by the time I do any more studying tomorrow morning). I finally got through that mythical 75% that BarBri likes to hype so much (that seems to be a different promise for each school).

I'm past the 75% mark, as well. Not sure what their promise is for ppl at my school, but I definitely don't feel like I'm autopass material right now.

Promise was the wrong word. Not so much a promise as a statement of past performance.

I'm at 69% and don't have enough posts to inline images. I also don't feel auto-pass.
Though I should hit 75% by the bar with some big hour review things I haven't yet counted off on the PSP that I'm close to "finishing."

I'm at 75% and I don't feel auto-pass at all. But then again, here in DC the average completion is 48%.

Don't feel auto-pass either, still feeling quite unprepared for MEE/State Essays.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
