I was killing the practice MBEs, but this was tough. I feel like I got crushed on it. November should be interesting.

I agree, especially the 1st 100 in the morning. I felt they were way harder than what we had seen all summer, but the 2nd 100 was a little better

I still felt like I was wading in unknown waters with the 2nd 100. I do not feel good about this. Ugh.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I'd been doing between 65% and 85% on practice sets of 33-50 but I felt like I was straight guessing on a LOT of these, with a bunch of unfamiliar concepts.

Also didn't help that our test center had a lot of awful noise.

Idk what just happened during that exam but it was much harder than Kaplan practice or final essay. Feels like I was robbed ".

I put up a poll for MBE perceptions over here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=251990

Maybe if everyone thought it's hard the curve will be more generous? Please?

Yea, that MBE was a little rough. And unfortunately, I still have a half day tomorrow.

As of now, 82% -- more difficult than expected.

I agree, but relieved to see it's that lopsided.

Holy shit, I'm so glad all you guys felt the same way.

I was feeling great with all the Qbank questions I was doing (same for the final exam). Out of every 10 or so, I'd say I was getting 3 of them immediately and easily, 4 of them after a little thought/analysis, having to really struggle with 2 of them, and 1 where I just had no clue.

But the morning session today...what the fuck. I felt like I did during the Kaplan pretest. A vast majority of the questions I felt like I was lucky to be able to work it down to two answers. Only a handful where there was a clear answer.

Second half was definitely easier, but I don't feel great about it. Thankfully it seems like that is a common feeling.

I thought the questions on today's MBE were quite dissimilar, and thus much harder due to the lack of familiarity, than the questions Kaplan provided -- and I did over 3,000 of the latter. And yes, the first 100 were far more difficult.

That MBE was weird. There were some super easy questions, but overall that felt almost as difficult as Kaplan's final. Glad we got a good essay draw because I don't see any way I got above 70% right on that MBE.

Also, why was there a Wills question?? I wanted to start throwing things when I saw that. Hopefully experimental.

I started reading it and the moment I realized what it was, I skipped it and moved on.

It was actually a super easy question if you knew how anti-lapse statutes worked, which nobody did because it was experimental.

There have been past anti-lapse statute questions - I took at least once with Adaptibar.

Completed the Q bank. Did the mid term and the final. Averaged around 79% on the questions I did the last 2 weeks.

Felt like I failed.

You and me both. Feel like I wasted a lot of time reading those long Qbank property questions with tons of conveyances of Blackacre. Maybe I have amnesia but I don't remember seeing much if any of that stuff on the exam.

Didn't it give us a fact pattern and then provide the relevant statute that was precisely applicable to the facts? I remember thinking it was odd because it wasn't really an MBE-topic question, but I felt the question was ridiculously easy. That probably means I missed something though.

It was pretty straightforward, but people that have never taken wills might not instinctively know what "issue" means in that instance and that statute had some other words that weren't really common knowledge ...that's what makes me think it was experimental but who knows really

Wills is pretty blatantly obvious. If the exam were full of such questions, I would not have felt so bad.

If you people who did well on practice feel like you failed then WHAT AM I :(. Was averaging at highest 65-75% but backslid the last week. Did the MBE actually try to ask a question about different types of real estate agent agreements or was I going crazy.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
