Commercial paper a tad. None to dependency or delinquency. Trusts, fl con law, contracts, torts a bunch.
Same thing here. Figure Art. 3 and Art. 9 will somehow be integrated into a contracts essay. I see the other two as marginal areas, almost skippable (?!).

BarBri Nation: how are you all scoring on the corporations MC questions? Just lodged a 13/27.

Dependancy was tested last Feb so prob won't show up again this cycle but never know. I'm thinking Art. III or IX has a good chance of showing up despite it being on last July's contracts essay. Almost definitely will see Florida Con Law and Contracts.

As for MC my money's on Evidence and the Procedures. Considering BE has been tested the last two cycles, I also like Wills. But a few people in the "know" have told me that it's completely random (as opposed to some guy in a room deciding what's relevant to the current state of Florida law).

The Barbri corporations MCQ's are impossible, especially toward the end. But so are the real MCQ's on game day. You can't win.

No way Florida mc is random. We're getting crim pro, civ pro, business, and evidence.

BE's been tested the last 2 admins, and 5 out of the last 6. I think we're due for Wills. But you're right about the other subjects.

I'm tempted to pay the ridiculous price for this Florida essay supplement I just found on Amazon: Essay Rule Paragraphs for Florida Bar Exam by "Vital Bar Prep" (whoever the fuck "Vital Bar Prep" is).

ETA: It's available for $30 cheaper on their website, $97 total. I'm going to give these people a call and try to get some questions answered + see if I trust them.

Wow, every one of those past exams has had either a trust essay or wills in the MC, but never together. I wonder which one we are going to get!

I'd take a Wills MC all-day everyday. Remembering FL subjects cold for essays that don't have MBE analogs is a struggle - I'm forcing myself to pay extra attention to UCC 3/9.

Kaplan put out a short alert on this issue, but what's the TLS opinion re: whether the SCOTUS gay marriage ruling + the fact that the February examination included a Family Law question = the Examiners will be discouraged from including a Family Law essay for July?

How many Florida subject multiple choice questions will you do/have you done?

I will have done about 1200 in all subjects, heavy on Civ/Crim pro, Evidence, Bus Entities, Wills.

Also I plan to issue spot as many essays as I can get my hands on and will read rule statements that correspond, but I probably wont actually write any essays myself.

I am only focusing on the Florida portion, have already passed the MBE recently in another jurisdiction and am confident I will do so again.

I bought a set of Barbri Multiple Choice and Essays questions (FLT1 and FLT2) from 2013 off ebay. I think Kaplan qBank has a lot, but it's expensive if I recall correctly.

Am double checking changes and distinctions that may have changed since then (like the increase from 10 to 15 days for new trial motions, etc.) by referencing the actual code/statute.

To what extent are people learning the minute details of Florida law for essay purposes? For instance, are you all committing to memory the medical malpractice pre-suit procedures under Florida tort law? At some point one would think the level of granular detail is not expected from the Board, right? Or are people committing to memory things like the particular restrictions on transferring condominiums interests? Are we shooting for breadth, depth, or the whole shebang?

Personally, I'm shooting for breadth on most topics since that is all that is really needed for the MC portion. But on heavily tested essay topics like contracts and torts, I am trying to (key word: trying) memorize more minute rules, such as pre-suit med mal procedures for torts. I think it's also important to know areas of the law where there are clear distinctions between the MPE rules and the FL rules, since in so many ways they are similar (meaning that they will likely want to exploit dissimilarities - just my gut feeling). Then there are some subjects, like commercial paper, for example, where I am just reviewing the CMR and my lecture notes and not doing any further studying. I think it's about prioritizing. In an ideal world, we would be going for the whole shebang. But we can only do so much and fit so much info into our brains, so I'm doing what I can to stuff as much in as possible.

The FL Board of Bar Examiners has past questions in their study guides as well.

So, looking back at last 10 years, FL has not tested criminal law in any essay. I was basically ignoring the criminal law distinctions in FL. However, I was just reviewing an essay from the 2000 exam and question asked about a FL stalker statute and ability to bring criminal charges. How is everyone handling criminal law? Any possibility it will be tested??

Also, looked on ebay for BarBri books for FL multiple choice and can't find them any longer... any other suggestions on extra MC questions? Almost completed all the Themis questions and while I feel like I know most of the rules, I still do terribly on the questions as they pick out minute details that the notes/outlines/lectures do not cover and I assume we are to learn through questions. Thus, the more questions the better.
Thanks

I know that Amazon has some older sets for Florida, e.g.: http://www.amazon.com/Barbri-Review-Flo ... Bar+Review

As mentioned above I was able to find a 2013 set that is good, the questions are still on point.

I am getting murdered by Corporations multiple choice questions, they are just sooooooooooooo nitpicky.

I've got the same concern re FL Criminal Law. I've decided not to give it much (any) time. I'm essentially banking on the fact that everyone else won't know it.

I felt the same way with the Corps multiple choice questions, so much so that I don't even know how much I learned doing them.

How do people feel about Barbri FL multiple choice in general? Civ pro was easy in my opinion but then corps was quite tough. How tough are the MC on the bar? What's a good % correct for BarBri test Qs?

Fl Civ Pro, Fl Crim Pro, Fl Evidence, are all good.

Fl Business entities are a shit show, just getting reamed by these over here, my average in corps and partnerships is probably 50%. I'm going to repeat the sets a few times so I can hopefully memorize some of these nuanced rules.
