It seems that given that no one has received any results yet (at least on this board) that the most likely scenario is that the results won't be released today.

See IBAB's twitter feed for an example below (some got theirs earlier, some later):Holly Golightly wrote:I took the July 2013 exam and results came out alphabetically by last name if you had already passed C&F, and people who hadn't passed C&F yet (like me) were last. But it was all within a few hours.MACK wrote:Not a joke. The board releases results in small increments to avoid the site crashing. We're supposed to wait until we receive an email that our score was posted on the web site before logging in (easier said than done). This meant that some people get their scores later. Again, this doesn't mean that you didn't pass. It only means that the posting of the results are staggered.LawgirlIL wrote:The couple of days is a sick April fools joke. I have several friends who took February last year - everyone got them on the same day. With last names ranging from A to Z.
Relax. Take a breath.

Be advised that the results for the Feb 2013 will not post today, but within the next couple days. Give your F5 key a rest for today.

I called and the lady I spoke to said she had no idea whatsoever and that they would be released in the first two weeks of April.

I just feel that if they weren't coming out today, they would post something on Twitter like they did in the past.

It's complete bullshit that you pay thousands of dollars to these people to take this ridiculous exam and they don't have the decency to just post or tweet that they will not be released today. And now if they aren't released today, if you did fail and you want to take the July exam, the fee goes up.

I don't think the fee goes up if you took the previous exam.LawgirlIL wrote:It's complete bullshit that you pay thousands of dollars to these people to take this ridiculous exam and they don't have the decency to just post or tweet that they will not be released today. Also the board of admissions is only open until 2pm. So if you don't have results by then, try again tomorrow I would assume.

Flagging in case not yet seen: http://www.chicagolawbulletin.com/Artic ... 27-15.aspx
It is good to see a more modest minimum passing score increase of 2 (as opposed to 4) for the July exam. Though hopefully the score change won't apply to any of us.
I thought this sentence was interesting: "In July, the average multiple choice score for Illinois test-takers was 147. A person who reached that number could score a 117 on the writing — “an unacceptably low score,” Regina Kwan Peterson, the board’s director of administration, said in November — and still pass the bar."
This gives credence to a theory we've heard elsewhere on this forum before, which is that a strong MBE score pretty much equals an auto-pass. Though it's hard to know how you passed given that IL doesn't release the scaled MBE score.

Well they've updated the scoring memo for February 2015. See the link, here https://www.ilbaradmissions.org/scoring-memo-july-2013 I know the link says July 2013, but it's actually February 2015. Apparently, the MPT carried more weight than in the past.

Looks like the breakdown is the same: MBE is weighted 50%, essays (MEE and IEE) are weighted 43%, and the MPT is weighted 7%

I don't know. The NCBE admissions guide says that MPT is weighted 10% now. I thought that the scoring memo used to say that MPT was weighted 1.5 times of an individual essay. Now they say it is 2.25 times an essay.MACK wrote:krishna_das wrote:They haven't posted it on their webpage yet. If accurate, it certainly helps our cause to have the MPT weighted at 10%.
