Taking a bottle of champagne with me to work tomorrow. Will be super awkward if I don't pass (the partners know results come out at 4pm), but I'm probably out of a job anyway if I fail.......so fuck it, I'm taking champagne and gonna enjoy the build up and pray for the best.

I am certainly not staying at work for the results. I'm getting the hell out of dodge at 12:30 and preparing myself (with alcohol) for the impending results. Then I'll either drink in celebration or with the intent of entering a alcohol induced coma. Luckily the partners seem oblivious to the fact that results are coming tomorrow.

Anyone else refreshing the results page like a lunatic hoping they accidentally post early?

I favorited the results page with my last name letter so I just have to do one click at 4 tomorrow. That's about as neurotic as I'm willing to let myself get about this point.VSCPGH wrote:Anyone else refreshing the results page like a lunatic hoping they accidentally post early?

Well past time for you to relax. Live your life, enjoy the suspense (if that's feasible). Have a stiff drink. Find a rooftop and contemplate life. People watch from a coffee shop. Go for a night jog. Binge something on Netflix until 4pm tomorrow.VSCPGH wrote:Anyone else refreshing the results page like a lunatic hoping they accidentally post early?

Stop refreshing the damn page.

Re: PA Bar Wait Group
very much time to relax. i was on edge yesterday bc I knew they'd send the email if it was coming out on Friday, but it's kinda nice now ... like, I know nothing's happening today, I know nothing's happening tomorrow before 4, so i can just kind of ... not fret. it's kinda like that time between the exam itself and the beginning of this month when i wasn't really sweating it bc i knew nothing was gonna happen. check w me at this time tomorrow though i'll probably be going nuts.VSCPGH wrote:Anyone else refreshing the results page like a lunatic hoping they accidentally post early?

Re: PA Bar Wait Group
haha thank you. I will be hitting the barbells after work, and having some red after that. In my neurotic defense, once you fail once, you feel like you may never successfully become a lawyer.transferror wrote:Well past time for you to relax. I keep going through cycles of panic and cautious optimism. But the panic is way worse. I get an elevated heart rate and a little short of breath. I'll probably leave work early and work from home, because I don't see this as being sustainable for 7 more hours.VSCPGH wrote:How is everyone feeling this morning?

Same. I keep questioning if I did enough, knew enough, wrote enough, etc.

Terrible. Hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Moments of relative calm but mostly panic and anxiety.VSCPGH wrote:How is everyone feeling this morning?

Champagne in fridge at work. Partner brought a bottle of Jaeger. I'm enjoying the calm before the afternoon storm.

I have an attorney friend coming over right before it all happens so she can reload the page while I sit on my apartment floor holding a bottle of something.

Because you can't transfer your MBE score to PA, because of course you can't.mcweanis wrote:WHY AM I FREAKING OUT I GOT A 177 ON THE MBE LAST TIME

Yep. Took NY, waived into PA for two years when I got a job there, fell in love with Philly so I had to take PA bar. I studied while working full time and didn't do a prep program this time, so I don't know if I can really rely on my previous pass as a good sign.

I KNOW ARGHH if I could transfer my 177, I could have just studied the essays a bit and phoned it in.bulinus wrote:Because you can't transfer your MBE score to PA, because of course you can't.mcweanis wrote:WHY AM I FREAKING OUT I GOT A 177 ON THE MBE LAST TIME
