I don't even remember if I had a string of D's or patches of A's. I sure hope so.

No problem, I am sure you did better than you think. I missed the MBE by one point my first time around, hang in there.

By the time I filled out my Scantron sheet, it was pretty late in the game. I did not notice the long stretch of D's until pretty late. BUT, it actually made me feel better. I definitely did not get them all wrong, maybe a few, but not all.

Yeah that's good news to me for sure. I was much better prepared this time around and wasn't really sweating it, but this MBE was just unmistakably tougher.

Yepper. A string of A's and D's. Like so many, I assumed I was getting them all wrong. I passed.

For me, it was the afternoon session, I think questions 40-60 or 60-80 where one 20 question column had like 10 or 11 A's (not all in order but some strings of 3 or 4). In talking with other people, some had a bunch of A's and many others had the string of D's. Hence my question early on in this thread if the test forms arranged the question choices in the same way. I had Test Form 4.

I passed!!!!! I'm so relieved! It feels a little surreal! Congrats to all those who have passed and for those who are waiting, stay strong. I firmly believe that the waiting period is the worst part. I don't have my score back yet, but should be in the mail today. Once I do I'll post my MBE score.

Also, I strongly believed that I had failed again. So even if you feel that way, there can still be a positive outcome. I didn't finish half of the first MPT and knew I messed up on a couple essays. So I must have made up the points on the MBE or something. Just glad to be done.

For those waiting for the New York results, hang in there. I called BOLE and they say it is next week or the week after. I doubt they will release these results over the weekend. In the last five February sittings, the results were released on a Thursday or a Tuesday. I predict that they will release these results on Tuesday, April 28 or Thursday April 30. I don't think the wait will spillover to May. Here are the release dates for the last five February sittings:

April 24,2014-Thursday
May 2, 2013-Thursday
April 26,2011-Tuesday
April 27,2010-Tuesday
May 5,2009-Tuesday

I am barred in Kentucky and took the bar in Indiana, so after trying to forget about results coming out (which wasn't hard with work, wedding in 2 weeks, closing on a house, etc), the day they are released is finally here...although not until 5 p.m. Naturally....

Kentucky does not release anything, so I have no idea how I did, other than I scored at least a 132 on the MBE and averaged at least 75% on the essays. I did not prep the MBE as hard this time, as I had to learn state specific essay material in the 2 weeks my firm gave me off to prepare. I did take a look over civ pro questions, but typically found them to be easier as there was less guess-work involved. I paid to get my MBE score though, so when results are out and my MBE is out, I will post it. When I took Barbri, I was averaging around 65-70% overall, so 125-135 raw (given that it is only out of 190 and not 200). I was probably higher than that at the end, but who knows.

Congrats to everyone who has passed, and best of luck to everyone waiting.

I feel like MA is playing mind games with me.

Why don't they just post it online the same day they mail it?!

What this all boils down to is that anyone who did not pass has nothing to feel ashamed about. I know that is little comfort to anyone who is in that boat, but it's the best I can do. Any test administered to 48 qualified, highly-educated professionals with a 56.25 percent pass rate was a difficult test.
Second this. Vermont pass rate was just posted: 47.5%. I've never heard of a pass rate this low in Vermont.

MN's pass rate is probably going to be a near record low too.

Only 130 examinee numbers on the pass list. There had to be at least 300 people in that room when I took the exam.

I passed Indiana as well! Waiting for the NCBE to give me my score. I assume it will come later. When it does, I will post it along with averages, etc.

Anyone who ever considers taking CA should just say fuck that.

*Disclaimer: My comments may be skewed due to the fact that I may still not have recovered from the anger of the absurdity that is the CA bar.
