1L Hastings Lecture Videos and Syllabus

Post by Soso694 » Wed Apr 10, 2019 11:08 pm

Where can I find 1L Lecture videos and syllabi for 1L UC Hastings classes? I know there's some audio CDs but you have to rent it from their law library and I live in another state. Would like to go through all of them before class starts in August.

Lecture videos? Most schools don’t post lecture videos.

This. And to the extent lessons are recorded, they're for internal use only and require you to actually be a student in the class to view them.

Also, there's zero point in watching lectures before starting school. Or in reading your casebooks before starting school. Or in trying to do anything that gets you a "head start" on the substantive law. None of that works, because you need to learn the law the way your professors are teaching it that particular time. Learning anything else is, at best, a waste of time.
