A single district judge's ruling is going to be fairly limited in influence. It might eventually get to USSC simply because it's kind of a defining issue of this generation but that's going to be a long time, and several appeals, coming

Oh, the courts can move very quickly when they want to. I predict SCOTUS will have decided on this before the current Term ends. I don't think anyone wants to drag this out. Those supporting Obamacare want certainty and those against it want it gutted asap, and they think they have the 5 votes to do it.

This is going to be overturned by the Fifth Circuit and not picked up by the USSC. Read Jonathan Adler's stuff on this. The decision won't go anywhere or impact health law

Not so sure about that - the Fifth is one of the most activist conservative circuits in the country (along with 6/8/11). I feel like if any circuit might buy into the idea of creating new doctrine to overturn Obamacare, the Fifth would do it.
