Big Law Tax: Able to do both transnational and litigation work?

Postby corporatemandaorbust » Sun Sep 03, 2017 9:36 pm

In a Big Law tax group, is an associate able to be involved in both the litigation and transnational side of tax, or does one have to choose when they join?

OP, you can't ask questions in the Legal Employment forum until you're a law student. I've moved this to the appropriate forum.

You are prob thinking transfer pricing. You would be dealing with the IRS exlucively on those matters. A fairly limited group of firms deal in tp so your choice in firms would be limited.
