(C&F) Have you ever been subject to discipline by a professional organization?

Hi! : )
As I am preparing for my application on C&F section for some law school,
I got confused about the exact meaning of this question: "Have you ever been subject to discipline by a professional organization?"
By definition, is a professional organization something like "AICPA(The American Institute of CPAs)" or "AMA(American Medical Association)" ???
Or does it include any previous companies that you worked before?
I know it sounds a bit dumb question to ask but I really want to makre sure all my application is clean and accurate.
