But next year you'll be the beneficiary. Circle of life.Gray wrote:also it would appear that the 3L curve fucking the 2Ls is a real thing or at least this is what I am telling myself.
It was the same last year, including for those still looking for jobs. One of my friends was able to see the 3L grades only / full grades distribution in one of our classes last year. It was ugly. The curve went from 20+% A, 25+% A- to 10ish% A and 20% A-s.Gray wrote:only problem is that some of us will be applying to jobs in two months and most of the 3Ls are (hopefully) all set.EzraFitz wrote:But next year you'll be the beneficiary. Also possible 3Ls have that much more innate wisdom from an extra year of doing law school, so much so they can crush grades without doing homework or attending class.Mr. Blackacre wrote:It was the same last year, including for those still looking for jobs. 3L grades are due earlier and apparently professors tend to apportion the higher ends of the curve to thembrowniestasty wrote:Wait, so are the 3Ls and 2Ls on different curves?
I did it for a few years, wasn't bad.ball is life wrote:I'm going to GULC from GW next year and still have an apartment in foggy bottom. Would it be worth it to move closer to campus or is the commute generally fine?
The apartment is owned by family so I don't pay rent. I don't mind longer commutes so I guess I will just stay here.BlendedUnicorn wrote:But why would you live in Foggy Bottom if you didn't have to?
Oh, yeah, that's a really good reason.ball is life wrote:The apartment is owned by family so I don't pay rent. I don't mind longer commutes so I guess I will just stay here.BlendedUnicorn wrote:But why would you live in Foggy Bottom if you didn't have to?
Better than our Section's professors butchering as many names as possible, and declaring someone a "pro boner recipient."TheSpanishMain wrote:Lol at the commencement speaker. 30 minutes of paint-by-numbers left wing harangue. Even the dean couldn't force himself to look engaged
