I play "Candyland" with modified "Sorry" rules, which obviously involves two pieces for each player and two card draws per turn. Does NU have a club for that?

No. But we do have a LARP club in which Desert Fox is star wolf and I'm Falco, firing shot after shot into his G-Diffuser. We need someone to act as Andross' nephew Andrew. I don't think it was ever actually established who was Fox. Kind of an important role.bjsesq wrote:No. But we do have a LARP club in which Desert Fox is star wolf and I'm Falco, firing shot after shot into his G-Diffuser. Grow your facial hair out more and audition for the role. A full beard would help.bostonian wrote:I don't think it was ever actually established who was Fox. DF and I both drink scotch. I consider myself somewhat of an aficianado (albeit a broke one).Flustercluck wrote:Well damn...Desert Fox wrote:Either it's a myth, it's by invitation by only or something, or it died with models and bottles ITE.Flustercluck wrote:Just got my enrollment email, and found out there is a SINGLE MALT SCOTCH CLUB. I live in River West. The buses get me where I need to go, and I just make sure I'm sober enough to get home. I'm one of the few that don't think living in Streeterville is the best idea for a 1L. I need a chance to decompress, and those tall ass buildings and tourists don't help.homestyle28 wrote:This makes me want to live withing staggering distance of the LS

I actually like being on the 40th floor of my building. While it's right downtown, it feels like more of an escape from everything below to be that high up.bjsesq wrote:I live in River West. Yeah, but collectively several splitters can do the work of almost one normal adult.Holly Golightly wrote:Don't trust them, they're lazy splitters.

Would people be willing to post a rough range of what they're paying for rent? Is it tight living on the cost of attendance? How many of you have roomies?

I have a roomie. We live in a two bedroom loft with a porch and pay 1600 a month.homestyle28 wrote:Would people be willing to post a rough range of what they're paying for rent? Is it tight living on the cost of attendance? How many of you have roomies?
