Question for GW students

Post by democrattotheend » Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:56 pm

Anyone here go to GW? If so, do you know what the grading curve is? How hard is it to maintain a 3.0?

My scholarship offer is contingent upon maintaining a 3.0, and my GPA in college was 3.8 so that doesn't seem too hard, but I know law school grades are different because of the curve. So I am trying to figure out what the likelihood is that I could lose my scholarship if I decide to go to GW. Do you have any idea what % of the class has at least a 3.0, or whether it's common for people to lose their scholarships?

The GW curve is around a 3.2. I don't think it's that hard to maintain a 3.0. If you're sub 3.2 you're in the bottom half of the class and not working very hard.
