I just oversee him doing the work.

That makes 3 of us! Would love to quit earlier and have more time to relax, but just can't afford to. Luckily I like my job, so it's not too bad - plus I'll be training my replacement as wellBaby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:High five, end-date buddies.hipcatdaddio wrote:Last day is August 8. I'm training a replacement as well but my replacement is TTT as f@#$. The managers constantly complain about his inattentiveness to detail and unprofessional behavior. He was hired/and is still here because he is the son of the branch manager's best friend. He wasn't even required to interview.BoyOhBoyle wrote: That makes 3 of us! He's a chill dude though.

Just gave notice today for august 15th. Don't have to relocate for law school so I figure I'd work as long as I can since debt sucks.

Same exact situation. Hoping they throw a nice party for me for 4 years of service.john7234797 wrote:Just gave notice today for august 15th. Don't have to relocate for law school so I figure I'd work as long as I can since debt sucks.

Re: When are you quitting your full-time job for school?
They're looking for my replacement and I think they expect me to help search over the next few weeks. Thing is, none of my responsibilities can't be absorbed by anyone else in our office. Training? ::shrug:: "Look busier than you are." < That's what I'd tell anyone taking my desk.BoyOhBoyle wrote:That makes 3 of us! DONE as of last night. Now I just need to spend the next 3 days taking care of my coast-to-coast move and then I'll be able to enjoy a week in LA before school starts
