Indeed I am. Moving all my stuff in August 1st and 2nd, going home for a few days, flying to Hawaii, getting tan and attempting to have lots of sex with other vacation-goers, flying into O'hare on the 19th, and taking a train to school just in time for orientation.

When I was an undergraduate, I lived over in Urbana, though I understand some of that area has deteriorated in the past few years.

Winship didn't teach anything last year, so I have no insight.

I didn't have Tabb, but those who did really loved him. He's a big shot in the bankruptcy world, so just soak it in.

Most professors are approachable and willing to help.

-I had Reynolds for property. She has been voted best 1L professor pretty much every year she has taught. Makes even the most mundane topics (of which there are plenty in property) fairly interesting. One "problem" with her class is she does an incredible job of making sure everyone understands everything, and that makes it fairly tough to stand out on a final. That being said, grades in her class seemed pretty consistent with other classes.

-Never had Kar, but he's an energetic and extremely intelligent guy.
-Brubaker has a reputation for being an excellent professor and a lot of students in his section seemed to be pretty close with him. Plus, at the PILF Auction this year, you could bid on shooting shotguns with him. So he's alright in my book.

I had both Brubaker and Reynolds. I found Reynolds to be extremely nice and she definitely made sure everybody understood everything. But like someone already said, this means everyone knows the material decently well so it can be really hard to distinguish yourself on the final. Brubaker was a pretty good professor as well. To be honest I did find some of his lectures to be a little bit dry, but I guess that is the nature of Contracts (the class I had him in). He is extremely helpful in office hours so I would definitely go to see him as much as you can.

Well, I followed the instructions in the email and it just keeps bouncing me right back to the popup window that prompts you for your username and password.

Are you doing uofi/username? For example if my username is smithj, I would do uofi/smithj

A couple of things.

1) The damn thing has it's password so you have to (re)set it. It's called the Active Directory password and can be changed at https://passwords.cites.illinois.edu/. It should take a couple of minutes to update.

2)When logging into the intranet. Remember the email had uofi\netid--you actually have to add in that uofi\ part--as OKONG says in the above post.

Yep, that solved it. I should have read the email more closely. A great sign of things to come
