Thanks man. Hopefully some relaxation now will make up for the lack of relaxation in the next few yearsyossarian71 wrote:For real tho: jealous of your plans
Im def waiting until after 1L for this...figure 1L is the best tryout to test a relationship lolCoffeeIsLife wrote:Yeah I probably didn't put that in the best order.yossarian71 wrote:Your SO is upset about being 7th on the list but is prepared to forgive you for anything over a carat.CoffeeIsLife wrote: 7. I already live with her and we've been dating for a few years so I know we can handle the stress. I don't expect it to be easy and neither does she but I want her to have a full commitment before I ask her to move with me when I go to school.goldenboy514 wrote:Im def waiting until after 1L for this...figure 1L is the best tryout to test a relationship lolCoffeeIsLife wrote:Yeah I probably didn't put that in the best order.yossarian71 wrote:Your SO is upset about being 7th on the list but is prepared to forgive you for anything over a carat.CoffeeIsLife wrote: 7. How huge were your quads after that ride!?DportIA wrote:I'm a 2L now but in my 0L summer I rode my bicycle from Texas to Alaska. Pretty outrageous and fun. Ended like two days before law school started.
That's amazing! how long did you take to do that?DportIA wrote:I'm a 2L now but in my 0L summer I rode my bicycle from Texas to Alaska. Pretty outrageous and fun. Ended like two days before law school started.
Pretty awesome, but that all went away once I sat in the library for all of 1L fall semester hahaJustHawkin wrote:How huge were your quads after that ride!?DportIA wrote:I'm a 2L now but in my 0L summer I rode my bicycle from Texas to Alaska. It took 70 days, from June 1 to August 10 and then law school started August 12. So I had to fly from Alaska to Iowa the same night I finished (I'm from here/attend Iowa). We raised something like $315/320,000 for cancer research.alex.cm wrote:That's amazing! how long did you take to do that?DportIA wrote:I'm a 2L now but in my 0L summer I rode my bicycle from Texas to Alaska. The school I teach at sponsored my trip to Turkey.yomisterd wrote:I have a question... How are people paying for these trips? Airfare is fuckinh ridiculous
I'm going with my SO and we have some money saved. We're driving to all of the US locations, so it's not as bad as it looks. We're paying 3k for our Europe tickets and probably another 1k in transportation costs after we're in Europe. I'm guessing we spend 8-10k. We're not exactly wealthy right now but we feel like this is the time to travel (young, recent (UG) grads, etc.).d cooper wrote:The post above looks like a $20,000 trip.
