2. Make a final push where I currently live with my non-profit (though I plan to take it wherever I may go)
3. Play with my cats until they're tired of me
4. Work out (boxing, lifting, and hopefully some running---I really hate it but it's great cardio)
5. Read GTM, but that's it for the gunner stuff
6. Beat each Zelda WII game again (new one coming out soon too!)
I already started on this haha good plan! But I don't know where you heard news about the new one?
The creators are going to show footage of the game and talk a bit about it at E3 in June, and that's when the release date gets announced. I'm thinking it's around December.
I still haven't beat Skyward Sword yet even :/ I'm sure if it picked it back up, I'd be instantly re-addicted..

I've been on a kind of nostalgic bent though and hooked up my N64 to my plasma last Sunday. Ocarina of Time, 007, Gauntlet Legends and Harvest Moon all day long! :D

I never unhooked my N64. I think I've beaten each Zelda game, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Tooie, and Mario 64 more times than I can count

Skyward Sword is actually my least favorite Zelda game (Twilight Princess is my favorite). It generally got positive reviews though and I know many people who love it, so you should give it a try!

Oh I own it. I've gotten every console Zelda game since Ocarina as soon as it came out...just sorta fell out of like with Skyward Sword quickly and never bothered to finish it.

I'll probably go back to it once I wrap up Last of Us, and just beat it so I'm done with it before the next one comes out (heard a rumor it could be a Twilight Princess sequel?!?)

1. Keep working out (I'm a barre enthusiast, with a little running and P90X mixed in)
2. Get married!
3. Honeymoon in Costa Rica
4. Read The Nine (did excerpts in college and I was told it'll be a fun read and the background is actually useful at Gtown)
5. Possibly GTM? LEEWS seems better, but really intense and I'm not sure how much it'll really help...

However, I'm PT and will keep working in school so this isn't really a "summer" for me... :)

1. Graduating
2. Road tripping Texas in with my girlfriend to take her on grad school visits and say goodbye before she goes digging in Israel and finishes her last semester of undergrad in the chilly northeast.
3. Working at a JCC travel day camp. Not having the money to go abroad, this seemed to be the most relaxing way to make a paycheck.
4. Reading prep books, polishing my resume, and bookmarking firms that have a history of hiring associates from my school, and other 1L summer opportunities.
5. Sleeping and getting into shape. I've already started the getting into shape because I need to have twice the energy as any of my campers will.

1. (Hopefully) watching the San Jose Sharks win a Stanley Cup
2. Likely going to Cancun for a week or so
3. Trying to finally put on a few pounds and hit that 200 lb mark
4. Visiting the grandparents in Oregon
5. Trips to the Bay Area to see family and old friends whom I have rarely seen since moving to Southern California
6. Reading. Lots of reading. I have no excuse not to, so I must.
7. A little prep for 1L as well as updating resume and trying to make a list of companies/firms in San Diego that take on 1L interns/associates
8. Enjoying every last bit of San Diego's weather before I must leave it behind

I thought about doing divinity school for a while. You did Yale divinity? I had a few (great) teachers from there

Graduated in December. Did a bit of traveling for a few months after. Came back and landed a research assistant position with Reuters for a few months. Applied for one or two internships for the summer and waiting to hear back, if not I will continue with Reuters until I leave for school.

As it gets closer to August, I will probably get a hold of a few 1L prep books - I've heard they are beneficial.

I thought about something else.

Get as tan as I possibly can because I know I won't see the sun for the next three years.

Glad someone is willing to endorse my 0L summer plan!

Going to leave my job at the beginning of May, move home and just workout/read books/travel/golf/hang out with my brothers for three months. 8)

1. Relaxing in many ways
2. Working out, swimming, and a ton of basketball
3. Time in Colorado
4. Tons of reading
5. Map out grad school involvement stuff (clubs and the like) so I'm not lost when it all begins this fall (haha)

Oh yeah, and finding an apartment and maybe some roommates haha

I want to get a really fun job this summer that I can actually make money doing- any ideas?

As for me, I might be making a road trip with my boyfriend if he gets the time off work, and was considering picking up MMA for when I need to take out some aggression during 1L, even though I have a small pathetic girl body. (I'm actually a girl so I guess that's okay)

Mostly though, I really just want a job I like to do every day. I'd love to hear what the rest of you are doing!

Traveling a bit, working a few days a week as an assistant at a law firm (less because it's a law firm more because it's the only place I know of that will allow me to work when I want to work), working out, reading a ton, and relaxing. Couldn't be more excited.

kek5250- A few people have suggested to me that I should tutor to make money over the summer. Not sure that falls into the "really fun" category, but it certainly falls into a job that will actually make you good money and one that will allow you to work on your own schedule.

I mean I think the real question here is, what do you enjoy doing? I think a lot of people will have very different answers to the question you posed. Personally, I'd try and do something that involves being outside before I get trapped in the cold, snowy, wintery hellscape that can be a Michigan winter. Trail guide somewhere, something like that.

Shit like this makes me feel like I'm not doing enough. Launching a company? I really just want to get a tan and read.
