Apparently you need to add friends to actually create the group. You can't just create a group with only yourself LOLmec246 wrote:Checking in! Admitted this morning. Someone start a FB group!

so, do the deposits we put in go towards our tuition? or we can get it back later in some form after orientation?

Where is everyone from? And are you all set on going to GW?

I'm from and work in DC. I originally applied ED to Georgetown, but got deferred. If I don't get accepted to Gtown, I will (happily!) go to GW.gobears!! wrote:Where is everyone from? And are you all set on going to GW?

Re: George Washington Class of 2017/18
Good luck to you! my application is being held at Gtown through feb. I am glad it wasn't a rejection but it is like application limbo! I am also more than willing to go to GW if it does not work out. I just love DC. Spent a summer there after spending my whole life on the west coast and have been longing to go back since.mec246 wrote:I'm from and work in DC. I have the exact same scenario going on. Got in at GW and had a group interview at GU, then an email saying the final decision has been postponed until February. But if I hear nothing back then I am more than good with GW.gobears!! wrote:Good luck to you! my application is being held at Gtown through feb. Re: George Washington Class of 2017/18
Anyone know of anywhere to live in DC that isn't crazy expensive? I feel like everyone always parrots the really up-scale neighborhoods (Dupont! Capitol Hill!) as if they're the only options. Do you all know where one should begin to look for more reasonably priced apartments? Presumably there's something in between the most dangerous areas and the intensely gentrified ones.

Columbia Heights, Shaw, and Petworth are great places to look.ZipWhenSheMoves wrote:Anyone know of anywhere to live in DC that isn't crazy expensive? Any thoughts on Fort Totten or Brookland?mec246 wrote:Columbia Heights, Shaw, and Petworth are great places to look.ZipWhenSheMoves wrote:Anyone know of anywhere to live in DC that isn't crazy expensive? To confess, I'm in at both GTown and GW and interested in housing options for both. Fort Totten would be right on the Red Line for GTown...NoDayButToday wrote:I have a friend who lives in Fort Totten and he really likes it. were acceptance packages delivered to the permanent address or the current address? I am anxious! Hopefully they send out scholarship info earlier than anticipated. I don't know if I can pay sticker price
