Planet fitness on 125th/Adam Clayton Powell, which is inexpensive. If you don't mind going down to 92nd (and some expense), a number of students have Equinox memberships and can refer you to waive the initiation fee.
Do you have an idea of how expensive Equinox memberships are?

Check the Class of 2017 FB group- there was a promoter on there a few days ago (yesterday?)

Thanks! I'm sure it's different with a law student, but gym promoters in general scare me. I ask about their one-day trial and then they're on the hunt for my first-born.

The promoter in question is a student who just happens to have a membership. I'm also a member, but I'm just less jazzed about it.

Okay, great. Good to know it's not some serious law school hustle. Thank you!

$195/month but the $300 initiation fee is waived.

There's also a Blink Fitness and NYSC a block or two from Planet Fitness (they're all a block or two from the 125 A/B/C/D subway station).

Thanks for the info! At least now I won't waste a promoter's time.

They give a three day trial with full access to classes. Do it.

RIP Chirelstein and Goldschmid. I know I wouldn't have passed Contracts did I not have Chirelstein's nutshell.

But Brooks wasn't going to fail any of us. Now, Brooks is a man who is never allowed to die.

Long live Brooks.

Hi! I apologize for clogging up the board, but if anyone is trying to sublet a private space (studio or 1BR) for June and July, pretty please let me know! UES or Midtown preferred, but almost anywhere in Manhattan is workable. Thank you ^_^

So for my externship in the Fall and Spring (year long), it's recommended that we take either Crim Pro or Fed Courts, or both. I included that I would take one of these in my application for the externship. Is there a problem if I wait until Spring to take either, or both? Would that seem unprofessional?

I doubt anyone here can help in that regard. As some upper levels maybe.

Hey Columbia!

I'm a 1L at Georgetown and we have a new professor who taught (I believe) Con Law in 2014 and 2015. Professor Yvonne Tew. I was wondering if anybody would be so kind to check the outline/exam bank to see if any students had posted an old outline from her class.

Thanks!

P.S. I've seen people post this kind of stuff on Georgetown's page, but, if for some reason this is frowned upon / a violation of some law, lemme know. Law school has me paranoid now.
