I just discovered this thread. Hello old friends. Getting in on the sacrifices/raindances/$$ shenanigans.
FWIW, I'm walking around doing the weird confident throat thing McConaughy does in Wolf of Wall Street. This makes it rain millionz.

Re: Wash U Class of 2017
I haven't personally, but some have received Dean's Fellowships that offer full tuition (with increases covered) and a guaranteed RA position with a teacher-mentor (if desired). I think that's as close to stipends as they comewokenenden wrote:Anyone attending with full+stipend? Feel free to PM. Thanks

The only actual stipend scholly is the Weber for people committed to PI. The new Dean's Fellowship guarantees a paid RA position, though.wokenenden wrote:Anyone attending with full+stipend? Feel free to PM. Thanks

Per instructions from scottidsntknow, checking in.
Also, physical appearance notwithstanding, I've started identifying as a bear. Going to have a lifetime of fun with that.

I'm not entirely sure how to interpret this/I don't think it means what you think it means (unless you are LGBT but I was for some reason under the impression you weren't)StateSeal wrote:Per instructions from scottidsntknow, checking in.

LGBT. And I can only write about being a bear at this point because there's zero chance of me keeping a straight face while saying it aloud.Attax wrote:I'm not entirely sure how to interpret this/I don't think it means what you think it means (unless you are LGBT but I was for some reason under the impression you weren't)StateSeal wrote:Per instructions from scottidsntknow, checking in.
