Re: Cornell Class of 2017
Good news and bad news: The good news is that the scholarship is legit!
The bad news is that Cornell is taking the amount of the scholarship and subtracting it from my grant aid for this semester. The lady in the finaid office said straight up that the only benefit from the scholarship for me is that I get to put it on my resume.

Re: Cornell Class of 2017
Any housing hints from the Class of 2017 for the 2018s? Have read through threads, looked at websites of apartments, and the patfeeney guide. With almost a year under your belt where would you live if you were doing it again? Anyone live in Hughes that can provide positives/negatives? Anyone live at one of the other graduate housing complexes on campus?
Looking ideally for places within walking distance of law school. Likely 1BR or studio. Preferably furnished but not required. Probably bringing a car.
Thanks

Re: Cornell Class of 2017
I live in Collegetown Terrace and love it. It's a bit over half a mile from the law school and there is a morning shuttle that runs every 10 minutes. Don't know much about Hughes, but it seems like everything living there is happy with their choice.rbwlaw wrote:Any housing hints from the Class of 2017 for the 2018s? The software is called Exam4. You download it from a website. Not sure if it is compatible with the Surface.downbeat14 wrote:Dear Cornell c/o 2017 TLSers,
0L here definitely coming in the fall. A question popped up in another thread about laptops.
Does whatever exam software (if any) that Cornell uses work with the Surface? Do you have to install it with an optical drive or can you do it from a website etc?
thnx

It might depend on which surface-the surface pro's have full blown windows so yeah any program will work. The original surface and surface 2 run Windows RT if I'm not mistaken and I'm not sure of the extent to which you can download non-microsoft programs. Also congrats!tyrant_flycatcher wrote:The software is called Exam4. You download it from a website. Not sure if it is compatible with the Surface.downbeat14 wrote:Dear Cornell c/o 2017 TLSers,
