how to handle 2L SA and the plan

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:29 pm

Since everyone is anticipating a huge wave of interviews in late June and early July because of the new plan, how're people planning on handling interviews and your 2L SA job? Say you're lucky enough to land multiple interviews, all concentrated in June and July. Isn't it a bad look to miss more than a few days at most during 2L summer?

I would let your firm know in advance that you are applying, and that due to the plan interviews will not be occurring until the summer. Most firms are pretty supportive of their SA's going off to clerk, especially if it's before their first year.
