Ethics of sending holiday cards to Judge's chambers where you clerked?
Is there an ethics opinion on this? I would like to send one to my old chambers, but don't anything to come across as trying to influence anyone. Obviously I can't practice before my old judge for some time, but there's a chance my firm will.

A holiday card is fine.
Just don't enclose large amounts of cash.

We got holiday cards from previous clerks. Seems fine to me. No cash or gift cards or anything like that, though.
