I don't want to say which judge or judges, but can confirm JD '19 interviews in CDCA.

Is it too late to apply for state supreme court clerkship? Or court of appeals?

This is a very court- and judge-dependent question. Some SSCs are just as competitive as feeder circuit clerkships and have already filled for 2019-2020, and possibly even 2020-2021 (thinking mostly of Kruger, Liu, and maybe[?] Cuéllar in California). I know the Washington SSC is currently hiring for 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. That said, most other SSCs are still in the 2018-2019 hiring cycle: some have finished hiring (e.g., Massachusetts and Arizona), many are currently hiring (e.g., New Jersey, Utah, Michigan, Connecticut, and Colorado), and others have yet to begin. If you're interested in an SSC clerkship, you're just going to have to decide what state(s) you're interested in and check out their websites for yourself.

Many federal COAs are still available for 2019-2020, and some are still hiring for 2018-2019. You should check OSCAR listings or ask your law school's clerkship office for more specific information. But also since your second question is fairly ambiguous, if you're referring to state courts of appeal, then I imagine almost none of them have begun hiring for 2019-2020 yet.

Actually in my experience state courts of appeal often hire on the same schedule that their supreme courts do.

Vermont Law School has an online guide to state clerkships - it requires a password to log in, but your CSO should be able to give that to you.

Any updates on COA judges for 2019-20. I've been applying for months now, but nothing! I know it is late in the game, but anything helps.

Same. It's been radio silence. When should we expect an uptick in openings for 2020-2021?
