Yes--updated yesterday. Another fail for me.Anonymous User wrote:Looks like Chin is filled via OSCARAnonymous User wrote:Oscar says all positions are open still, but I'm not sure based on past posts.Anonymous User wrote:Did Chin finish hiring?
I JUST sent an application update and now see this. Stupid me. To be fair to myself I guess I didn't have my D. Ct. clerkship until just before she filled anyway...Anonymous User wrote:Raggi is now full for 2015.
Hall clerk I talked to implied he wouldn't be moving for a while.Anonymous User wrote:Anything for 2015? Hall, Pooler, Lohier, Livingston, Carney?

I got one a few months ago, but not recently. It confirmed receipt. What did yours say?Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Hall clerk I talked to implied he wouldn't be moving for a while.Anonymous User wrote:Anything for 2015? Hall, Pooler, Lohier, Livingston, Carney?
Did anyone else receive a letter from Carney a couple days ago?
I suppose it would be an equivalent to a receipt confirmation, but I applied months ago (I'm sure she had to send out many, so maybe I was just farther down the line). I don't have it on me for the exact language, but it discussed how the judge will be reviewing applications at some point and will contact at a later date if she needs more information. It just sounded very different than my other "thanks for applying" letters.Anonymous User wrote:I got one a few months ago, but not recently. It confirmed receipt. Depends on the judge, but for some, yes, definitely not too early. Earlier thread indicates Katzmann has already hired out to 2017-18.Anonymous User wrote:Is it too early to apply for 2016-17? I know some judges posted for 2015-16 in the spring. For those who don't use oscar, can you apply at any time? Should I call chambers first to ask if they're accepting for that term yet? I should probably do that before sending it. It's crazy how far ahead they're hiring...
Yeah, I'd take his OSCAR posting at face value. I think he hires in a systematic way, as it suggests.Anonymous User wrote:Any intel on whether Chin is actually still considering 2016 apps?
