Since at least mid November.

Smith is also finished according to a friend of mine.

Smith is done for 2016 per OSCAR.

For Jones, are we talking about 2015 or 2016 on her being done?

I was asking about 2016. Didn't think there were any 2015 COAs that hadn't hired already.

On another note, anyone know to what extent a district court under the 5th Circuit advantages you in getting a 5th Circuit position the subsequent year (if at all)?

Well that has to be super frustrating for some of the people he's been interviewing rather than interviewing and hiring all openings close together.

Just curious. When you say Jones is done for 2016, how do you know?

5th circuit taking their time. My two friends and I respectively interviewed with three different 5th circuit judges in the recent weeks. All did said they would take a while and none appear to have decided yet. They know we are waiting, right?

Would you be willing to say who with?

I know this is probably the wrong thread (if we're only talking 5th Circuit), but what Texas district court judges have made recent moves in the past 1-3 weeks?

In NDTX, Fitzwater is recently full for 2016. I believe that Godbey and Lynn are also recently full but perhaps someone else can confirm (or deny). More generally, there has been a lot of movement since the beginning of February. Things are moving quickly.

Prado is finished for 2016. Not accepting apps yet for 2017.
