I applied to Elrod for 2017 via paper application and was told she wasn't looking at applications until December/ January.

Judge Smith has begun hiring for 2017. Not sure how many he's taken so far though.

I heard from my school that Smith finished hiring in September. I personally know one of the 2017-18 clerks he hired and the clerk had the position in August.
