This make no sense at all. He is not hiring for 2016-17 yet. He's filled 2 spots that I know of.

We all have different sources, but mine indicates that he is also considering people for 2016 - 2017. Given his past hiring patterns, this is well within his norm.Anonymous User wrote:This make no sense at all. He is not hiring for 2016-17 yet. 2015-2016 is most likely done. He made a bunch of offers at the end of April. I think there might have been one left.Anonymous User wrote:Anything from Jordan for 2015-16?

He started extending interviews for 2015-16 slots at least as early as Oct/Nov of '13, and was full by Jan '14.Anonymous User wrote:Huh. Thought he was one of the earlier ones.Anonymous User wrote:LOL try February / March.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know when Pryor generally starts hiring? August?

This is probably an impossible question to know the answer to, but would be interested in people's thoughts on whether the new pryor (Jill Pryor) has feeder potential for libs.

she was confirmed? and there's no way to know that until people actually start feeding

Not yet, but cant see why she wouldn't be. The reason I ask is that, maybe its just me, but most feeders tend to be really accomplished and smart judges. Pryor seems to have that kind of background.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:This is probably an impossible question to know the answer to, but would be interested in people's thoughts on whether the new pryor (Jill Pryor) has feeder potential for libs.

yeah but that's before the deal went down, and given her counterpart has already been confirmed, things would have to go super sour, imho, for pryor not to get it, especially since shes outa committeeAnonymous User wrote:well she's been sitting there for about 2 years haha.

Re: Let's talk 11th Circuit!
What's the typical approach for applying to a newly-confirmed judge? I know that on some other threads, people have recommended emailing materials to the new judge's firm email account before it is shut off. Is that something that we should only do if we are applying for 2015 but not if we're applying for 2016? Asking specifically about Pryor. Her confirmation vote is currently scheduled for Sept 8 according to Wikipedia.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
