Procedure for applying to nominees

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Jan 30, 2013 6:17 pm

So reaching out for a current clerking vacancy is pretty clearly established, but I'm a little lost about what to do regarding nominees who haven't been confirmed by the Senate yet.

There are a couple judges who have received their nomination from the Senate Judiciary Committee, but haven't gone to a full Senate vote. When is it appropriate to send an application to them? Upon receiving their commission? Before then?

Thanks for your help!
