Yeah, I also live about the same distance away (4 hours). Unless I can get both days off work, it looks like I'm going to have to leave at 4am to get there in time for the morning events.

lol, that's what I thought at the beginning of the cycle, but if Harvard and Columbia don't work out and NYU doesn't offer me enough money, I'll very likely end up here.

Yeah, that's a good plan. I'll probably be staying over Friday night too. Not sure if I should look at apartments with so much uncertainty in the air, but I definitely need to check out Ithaca to make sure I'd be down with spending three years there.

I'm kind of worried Helix is going to figure out who we are without revealing himself so he can blackmail us in the future.

But regardless, yeah, I've got two ideas for possible clues. One I wear all the time, though, so it would be pretty easy for anyone lurking the forum to out me in the future. Might go with the second one, which I would wear just for the purpose of outing myself to people at ASD.

I know many of you may already have your travel plans set, but I just thought I would provide a few words of wisdom regarding flying into Ithaca: don't do it. Especially if you're on the East Coast. ESPECIALLY if you have to fly through Philadelphia, which will never, under any circumstances, go according to plan. The flights into Ithaca are on small planes, which I'm sure are perfectly safe, but that means that even the slightest inclement weather and they have to delay or cancel the flight. After trying to fly home on a regular basis over the course of five years, I don't think I've had it go smoothly once.

I would highly recommend flying into Syracuse instead and booking a van service to get to campus (it's about an hour) or taking a bus from New York (the Cornell bus is a little expensive, but really nice. There's also greyhound, etc.) Hell, even if you have to rent a car, that would probably be better than flying. Also, I know it may be springtime in March and April where some of you life. Trust that it will not be springtime in Ithaca.

But, it is gorges.

I assume they'll be bar crawling while I'm law schooling, but that's just a guess.

And apparently they're already accepting applications for Hughes. I'm undecided between Hughes and renting an apartment downtown, so I think I'll wait until ASD to see if I can find any chill prospective roommates.
