Got it too.
Is it from the Peggy Browning Fund?
I think those are for current students? I could be wrong, though. This Summer Fellowship thing seems to be some new program that gives students a stipend during the summer after 1L.

The only thing I can't tell from the letter is whether or not we get it even if by some fluke we find a paying summer job.

E-mail says it's from the Temple Law Foundation.

Is TLaw Admits active on blackboard yet? I thought it was supposed to be by mid-June, but I haven't seen any updates yet.

Also, is it worthwhile to join the Facebook group? Seems more like a roommate exchange than anything.

i haven't heard a peep about blackboard (or anything for that matter) from Temple. I do remember someone in the office saying that there would be some movement in July.

The facebook group is a little quiet now (though we just had a meet-up with a lot of the incoming students that was organized through the group), but I think it's something that could potentially be helpful later on. I know students at other schools that use it to coordinate and ask academic questions.

Ran another test run today -- took SEPTA to the Temple train station, got in about 5:48, then a brisk walk to Klein had me in the building by 5:59. Getting to those 6:00 classes is going to be tight... I might suggest any evening students taking SEPTA try to catch the train before the one that theoretically gets in at 5:45, because if it's even a couple minutes late, you are not getting to class on time.

On the plus side, we'll all be getting a little exercise to combat all the sitting -- that's a decent walk.
