So... I imagine that we all got this email... but are they really cordially inviting those of us who are straight white males, or are they just inviting "those who fit into one of the aforementioned groups"?
Straight, white, male? Shame on you and me as well.

I don't know man, if you're a white guy they ask if you're at least open to the idea of being with a dude before they let you in the door.

Has anyone been shopping for suits yet? Wondering if there's any big sales going on in the area.

Also what's a good place for alterations?

Suit Supply will do alterations in the store when you buy the suit. Just pick back up after getting a brew.

Andddddd we have our first reading assignment! It's basically like we've started classes, right?

(Just FYI with the new gmail inbox system some important emails from the university have been going to my "Promotions" inbox and I've been missing them because I thought it was meant to be a small step down from the spam folder... so be sure to check there if you haven't been.)

Also lol at your perception that 16 pages is automatically amateur hour. Enjoy your first torts reading that is a 1.5 page "long" case and 14.5 subsequent pages of notes/squib cases that are about 4 lines long. Those 16 pages will take you 4 hours and you will cry.

You will then look back 2 months later and ask yourself, why did I read those cases.

Indeedy. But no section numbers, as far as I can see? Not that it really matters; I guess we can identify by LRW instructors.

I think that the section number is the number after LAWS 30711 (LRW course number). So if you had LAWS 30711/03, you'd be Section 3.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

I have a mix of 1 and 2 for the non-LRW classes, so I'm pretty confused now.

There are only two sections for the non-LRW classes (they did away with 3 for LRW, odd), so everyone will be in either 1 or 2 for those. I think when people say section number they refer to their LRW section, since those are the people they'll have all of their classes with. I think.
