We had a Buss packet, too. Not sure how much changes from year to year.2014 wrote:I would pick it up from an upperclassman for sure. It was new as of last year I think so it's not one that you can readily pick up used online yet.

You might want to set up a filter that sends bookserv messages to their own folder. The volume is going to be absurd for the next 2-3 weeks.Jaqen wrote:PSA: Sign up for the bookserv if you're interested in buying used books from 2Ls. https://lists.uchicago.edu/web/info/bookserv

I'm liking the food trucks so far. They're pretty expensive but you can get a lot of food, like enough to split between two meals. Do they leave during the winter? I hope not.

I'm a 1L at another, less distinguished, Chicagoland law school.
I'm wondering if someone at U Chicago could help me out by hooking me up with some of the past exams and model student answers your school's Contracts profs have made available at http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/e/law/cours ... =Contracts
I'm worried about my Contracts course, and my professor is new, so I have no old ones to look at and work off of...
And I won't distribute the documents or answers to anyone else.
Thanks to anyone who can help. Please DM me. Will gladly buy you a coffee downtown/deliver an inappropriately long hug to anyone who can help.

We don't have contracts yet. We aren't permitted to share past exams with students/friends/etc either. Apologies and best of luck!thenovataco wrote:I'm a 1L at another, less distinguished, Chicagoland law school.

I'd say most people have ambitions of starting now and getting caught up and it ends up happening over/right after thanksgiving break. There's really not that much material for elements and CP1, but the first time outlining is admittedly more time consuming than subsequent attempts due to inexperience and since your notes now are almost certainly more detailed (excessive) than they will be come winter and spring.Crowing wrote:I feel like I should like start going back over old mats and synthesizing shit soon, but idk. TL;DR if you haven't started you are in the majority and if you haven't done anything by Thanksgiving, don't worry you still have time.

I'm definitely already seeing a change in the way I take notes. It's encouraging to think it might drop off even more.2014 wrote:I'd say most people have ambitions of starting now and getting caught up and it ends up happening over/right after thanksgiving break.
