Dang, we've got a small army. Don't even mess
The major downside: 8am. I'm not about that.

You should bring it up at the meeting, first thing. lololol "I mean, what kinda not-profit organization opens at 8:00 AM!" Say it with a big mouthful of do-nut, waiving your coffee cup around.

Don't think I won't do it!!

PS, for the facebookless among us, we are organizing a group to go to the March on Washington this Saturday. An impossibility for the on-campus kids, BUT let me know if you are interested in coming. March followed by the President speaking! Yay DC.

Also at 8am tho

Anyone look at their first-day assignments yet?

Also, anyone send in a picture/submit the form for the GOCard? Or are you just gonna have it done when we get there?

I e-mailed them a picture today saying I was planning to hand deliver the form to the office this afternoon and I received a practically instant response that it was ready for me to pick up so I went down there and handed them the form and they handed me my ID. It went easy. A classmate in my building went with me and he had sent in nothing yet but did everything right there in less than two minutes. Easy breezy!

Heck ya folks! I'm down. And I just sent you a pm Rory...I want to meet the puppy!

I feel that we can do better than the bars right by campus...that said, I'm still getting situated with the whole bar scene here. I do know that District of Pi near Gallery Place at F and 9th has a sweet beer selection and Pointe is really nice as well.

I was just wondering about our TLS get together. I literally don't know where anything is but I vote for a place thats easy to get too, not too far out of the way between the school and dupont circle.

What about Penn Social? I'm still getting oriented but I think it's west of campus, but not far at all. It's in/by Judiciary Square.

Poste and Penn Social are literally around the corner from each other. It's a good area. I vote for either one.

I vote for somewhere in DuPont so those of us not in NoMa don't have to take the metro twice, butttt I'm down for whatever.

Happy hour for the whole class in DuPont! Someone had friends that worked there and was able to get special prices and (I think) a back room for everyone.

And I'm fine with anyplace that serves alcohol.

I suggest Lucky Bar or Big Hunt. Both are within walking distance of Front Page (where the class happy hour is) and always pretty fun.

AND both have drafts/rail drinks for <$4 on Mondays!

Lucky Bar has $.50 tacos and is .3 miles from the next place. For that reason, I vote we commit and meet there.

Who else is in the Gewirz?
