Hey! I am still around. How did we get them? How can I set up/see mine? Let me know. Also, thanks for thinking of me and sharing the info here. I am very glad to see that we don't have to use that ugly email address with our initials and a random number.

Let us hope this reduction in class size augers a revision of UChicago back to a nice, comfortable #5
:)

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what's the timeline with financial stuff? As in: when are we supposed to hear back if our loans have been approved? I haven't heard a peep yet, and it's starting to worry me.

368 1Ls, which was down from over 400 the past few years.
I guess monitoring Lawnet gives us a definitive way to see exactly how many people get pulled off third reserve, though.

Man, and here I thought Lawnet was only fun because it has the best photo of the law school.
I feel this is too much effort though. And just discovered album view.

Stooooooked. But here's hoping they let someone with a "Q" last name in, it's really a blight on the directory page.
Also everyone coming out of the woodwork, join us on Facebook it's tons of fun.

After you've searched, top left of the search frame "Album view: off | on".

So I procrastinated and waited until the last day to upload my lawnet picture, but I can't find the upload page. Where is it?

The way I did it was to go to the admitted students checklist, where "upload facebook photo" is an option. It then leads you to another page where you can upload your picture.

So just got an e-mail about missing financial aid documents. Which is a move in a positive direction, I guess.
Also, I uploaded this picture to Lawnet all fine and good, and it was accepted, but something happened and now it's all blotchy and blurry. Not a good look.

Jesus, we can Facebook style creep on people (chicks) with this student directory. I am going to have to avoid this. Haha.

I have no email about finaid, and my checklist still tells me my Transcripts and my Dean's Certs are incomplete.
Why do you hate me, Columbia?

I just had to write a short third person biography of myself as part of this grant award form I had to complete. I guess it is to help the generous donators feel better about who they're giving their money to. That was an interesting experience.

Thanks. For some reason doing it this way worked, while logging into lawnet directly didn't.

When you go to edit your profile in LawNet (under my services or whatever), you will see it. For most of you, it will be
Firstname.Lastname@law.columbia.edu. Not sure what it will be if you share a full name with somebody
To have it as your primary sending address, go to your LionMail gmail account. Settings
Account
Add it under "Send Mail As". Super easy. Then you click "Make default".

I got the failure when I tried my full name but not the initial and last name.
