I was wondering when this subforum would be made. Nice.
I'll be taking the LSAT & applying in October, so I have no idea where I have a chance, but I couldn't resist being the first non-admin poster.
I guess I should say: grats to the UVA Class of '16.

Deferral here. Super excited about UVA. I think it's one of the few schools where "fun" is actually a reality. Most people I talk to say they hated law school, but I have a feeling I'm going to love it

Received my admissions package in the mail. Mostly stuff you would already have copies of if you did a visit/went to an LSAC event. But most importantly it contains a note (with a very nice handwritten PS on mine) so that I have something to look at and confirm that, "yes this is real."

I may just sleep with it under my pillow tonight, in case I wake up in a cold sweat, suffering LSAT or PS flashbacks.

No mention of any in mine, though I can't say I was expecting any. The long road of PI fellowships, grants, LRAP, etc. for me.

I was looking over all the concentration flyers in the admissions packet and I was wondering... should I be thinking about a concentration yet?

not really. they have plenty of workshops and info sessions here for different fields of interest. Just look at yourself and your past experiences now and see what you're aligned to. A lot of people have blatant interest (I.E. gov't work vs. Corporate). But those are broad categories. As long as you have some idea that's pretty good.
