Richmond Law Class of 2015

Post by wightjm » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:49 pm

I didn't see a group so I thought I'd start one. Excited to be in the River City this fall.

I am headed up this weekend to look at apartments, any suggestions other than the ones the school has posted?

Preferably within a 10 min drive

When I visited (a month ago), Ms. Caudill in the admissions office had an apartment finder book as well as a pamphlet sort of thing the school put together on places to live with some helpful student feedback in there (both good and bad). You might want to pay them a visit and grab some of that information. And don't forget Craigslist.

See you in August!

Depending on what you're looking for, in addition to the apartment listings that the university provides I'd check Craigslist for some places in the Fan/Museum area.

Just got back from my visit this weekend. It was great and the whole entire administration was so welcoming. I took a few pictures so I wanted to share for those who couldn't visit yet. My visit definitely made me excited for August.

Nice pics! It's funny, I took just about the exact same pictures when I went a month ago. Parking right there by the stadium, it seems to beg for a good shot. If I could figure out how to get them from my iPhone to here I'd post them, but they'd be redundant after these. Thanks for sharing!

See you all in August.

Anybody else get their class section yet? I live in Richmond so I got mine today, if you're curious and don't want to wait on the mail I can check the list and let you know what section you're in.

I actually had the office hold my packet for me to pick up in person (the mailing was going to be right in the middle of my move and a potential headache). Seeing as I live in a sea of boxes right now I'm waiting until tomorrow to pick it up.

If I remember right you're an old married guy like myself. Hope you and the wife had a good move.

Yep, that's me! Had a move that went so well it's making me nervous - movers, cable, etc. all showed up on schedule and without any trouble. Wife has a job interview today, I'm headed to campus now to pick up that sections packet.

That's rare for a move.

On another note, I've been here for 8 years so if you all need anything just let me know.

I am lost. Besides the assignments given, where do we find an entire book list?

Go to the bookstore website and select the term, class, and section (teacher) for each of your classes for book information. The information can be found here: http://www.urspidershop.com/buy_courselisting.asp?
