So...should one of us start the facebook group, or should we just let the admissions counselors do it? lol Either way, I can not wait for the fall!

For those of you who are definitely attending, in just a few words (or as many as you want) can you explain what sold you on Nova?

Thanks

Swishin and Dishin,

If I remember correctly you are in a pretty similar situation that I was. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you received a substantial scholarship from Villanova? Anyway, after I attended accepted students day, and spoke with professors and alumni I had a good feeling about the school. From talking to students and professors, the professors seem like they will do as much as they can to help students succeed, not only in the classroom, but also by finding internships.

After accepted students day, I feel that if I do my job over the next three years, I will see a great return on my investment in Villanova. Sure I was worried about the ranking situation for a little bit, but I've told myself that I am going to worry only about things that I can control. Grades and how well I do overall at Villanova are things I can certainly control.

How much in outside scholarship dollars are you receiving? Where can I apply for scholarships outside of the school? Thanks!

You can also apply for institutional scholarships, outside of the merit based ones that are awarded by the school. If you go on the VLS webpage there is a section of additional scholarships that can be applied for. Most with a deadline of May 1st.

Does anyone have an idea where they'd like to live yet? Students at the ASD recommended the Radnor condos and Radcliffe House, so I'll be looking into those once the roommate list goes up I guess.

Hey guys! I think I am about to put my deposit down tomorrow. The problem is, I wasn't offered any scholarship but Nova is my number one choice! I am thinking about putting down a deposit somewhere else too where I did get a good scholarship and then negotiating. Good idea? Bad idea? Hope to see all of you cool kids in the fall.

My friend lives in Radnor so I checked out the building and a couple of the units, its seems pretty decent. Lots of law students live there, as well as old people so it's a weird mix haha. But I assume I'll end up there since it's close to the school and not too expensive.

Yeah I'd take a shot with that if I were you.

I checked out Radnor Crossings which seemed really nice, and is comparable in price to those closer to campus.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
