They usually start around 9:00-ish in the mornings, and last until the mid-afternoon. They do a breakfast thing, speeches by various faculty and administration, sit in on a 1L class, lunch, more speeches, tours by student guides, etc. They do it all at the law school, which is pretty much its own separate section of campus. If you're from Dallas and pretty set on SMU, you won't learn anything of value, really. You can just come to the school and wander around for a bit and get much the same information, without having to suffer through a speech by the Dean. If you need to decide between a few schools, it's worth going to.
