CU Boulder Class of 2015
Figured I'd make this thread so that all of us that have been admitted can talk about scholarships, housing, classes, etc.
Anybody on here in the Boulder Facebook group?

I'm hoping to hit up the March Open-House to explore Boulder and maybe check out housing.

Re: CU Boulder Class of 2015
I am also on the Facebook Group. I am trying to decide which date to attend, flight costs will really figure into whether I'm there in March or April. I asked about travel stipends on the Facebook group on hopefully they'll get us some travel money, that would be a BIG help! I'm a grad student currently and have class on Thursday night so it kinda makes it hard to be in Kansas City, MO at 7pm on Thursday and Boulder, CO on Friday at 9am but I really want to be at one date or the other! Colorado as of now is my top choice.NYDCKid2014 wrote:coldshoulder wrote:Figured I'd make this thread so that all of us that have been admitted can talk about scholarships, housing, classes, etc.

Colorado kids hollaaaaaaa. I'm too poor to visit so I'll just make a blind decision. Or stop buying so much booze and save up. One or the other.

Also, this is the first class of thread I've posted in. I like.

I'll join... seeing that I will probably end up here. Love Boulder. Haven't been back since I graduated, but hopefully will be there for the open-house in March. Well, if I can stop spending my entire paycheck haha

Got admitted on Monday via letter and am hoping for a scholarship. For those of you already admitted w/ scholly, when did you get notice of the $$?

I'm probably wrong, but I don't think anyone has gotten any money yet.grumblegrumble wrote:Got admitted on Monday via letter and am hoping for a scholarship. For those of you already admitted w/ scholly, when did you get notice of the $$?

Naw, you're right. They haven't. I think I read somewhere that they don't start reviewing apps for scholarships until sometime in Feb?naw wrote:I'm probably wrong, but I don't think anyone has gotten any money yet.grumblegrumble wrote:Got admitted on Monday via letter and am hoping for a scholarship. Admissions letter says "Only applicants receiving awards will be notified. Offers will be sent through regular mail starting in late January and continue to be made throughout the admissions process."PizzaShrapnel wrote:Naw, you're right. They haven't. I sure hope so! I'm dying to hear...I've gotten good schollys from other schools in the T50, so I'm hoping to get money to Boulder (my first choice).

CU Boulder is my #1 if I can get some decent $$$ Received an email today from the president of the Native American Law Student Association at CU. Looks like they have a really nice Indian Law presence and support for Native students!

I got half tuition from a peer school renewed with a 2.0 GPA and am under consideration for a full ride. Would Colorado be willing to negotiate schollys if they don't offer me one? I'm an OSS. However,I wanna move out west but I'd be really dumb to take on $100k in debt vs $30k in debt. Just nervous is all. Aghhhh lol.gfj90 wrote:Boulder w/ $$$ would be nearly impossible to turndown.

I just got my acceptance letter. I was planning on going to ASW in March. Does anyone know if they offer a stipend or free lodging?

I visited on the cheap a few weekends ago. It's one of the few cities that is as nice in real life as it is on paper. I loved it!! (I'm from Seattle and I couldn't get over all that sunshine!)naw wrote:SOMLashley12 wrote:Colorado kids hollaaaaaaa. I'm too poor to visit so I'll just make a blind decision.
