Yay! I went so long without a friend I was starting to wonder if I smelled bad or had toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe!
I will probably be there too!!

Anyone heard back regarding Financial Aid yet? I'm itching to have the numbers to make a decision so I can start being excited for next year!

I didn't pay a housing deposit either. We will probably have to pay one down the road.Dani.B wrote:hey guys, just finished my housing application and is there no room deposit for Stanford graduate housing? Do you pay after you're assigned or did I just miss something?

Nope, no deposit.
I assume that if you owe Stanford money due to damages they'll put a freeze on your class registration, but I haven't tested this theory out yet.

Anyone excited to get their housing assignment tomorrow? Are most of you looking for Munger?

Also excited for the housing assignments tomorrow, although I'll be in EV, so it'll be rather anticlimactic.
No ASW refund here yet. I assume they'll be coming soon … has anyone heard?
EDIT: My housing assignment is up on Axess … I assume Munger ones are as well.

Hey all - 2L transfer here. If anyone here is looking for off-campus housing and a roommate, lemme know. Looms like all the graduate apartments are currently full.

Re: Stanford Class of 2015
Hey looks like this forum is pretty abandoned, but just wanted to ask about student loans. It seems to me the federal plus loans are a pretty raw deal, at least if you have a decent credit rating. Has anyone else been looking at private lenders? Find anything? Is there a facebook group or forum that would be a better place to ask?

Re: Stanford Class of 2015
I didn't try to private lender route. I looked up old stanford threads on here and your exact question was asked, it seemed most went with the graduate plus loan. You can try asking the stanford class of 2015 google group.Jerwinf1 wrote:Hey looks like this forum is pretty abandoned, but just wanted to ask about student loans.
