1. Cost - $90-100,000 more at UPenn
2. Big Law Job (160K) after graduation
3. Percentile comparison (my research has shown that UT top 25% is comparable to the UPenn top 35%)

Any advice is helpful. Thanks.
I'm curious as to where you got the top 25%/top 35% comparables. I was under the impression that Penn was around 55% according to ABA fact sheets and NLJ rankings for BigLaw whereas UT is much weaker on those metrics.

Those numbers are what I have been told by those working in Texas. Meaning, those numbers are the percentiles for Texas only, not across the US.

I think Left Bank still has apartments but it's expensive (but very very nice)

I just returned from four days apartment hunting in Philadelphia. If you are able to visit: there is a ton still available in University City if you are willing to hunt them down - both on Craigslist and simply driving around/taking numbers.

firms sometimes report higher cutoffs than what they are actually willing to take. Not sure why, but whatver they're telling you probably isn't a hard and fast rule of thumb.

I am working at a firm in Philadelphia this summer and I am looking for a one bedroom sublet. Preferably in Center City. If you have a spot, or know someone who does, send me a PM and we can discuss details.

I am wondering if anyone knows the requirements for latin honors at Penn.

The inbreds over at Autoadmit seem to have had a pretty rigorous debate about it in this http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?threa ... .#10742276. However, I don't see anything very compelling.

Basically, do you think its true that the registrar runs some sort of complicated seminar weighting system? Or are all classes weighted according to their credit value?
