since this is me, can you explain why I should be crying- other than 8AM starts everyday?
Civ Pro with Allen is fine once you realize that you're not going to learn anything about civil procedure in his class. Literally nothing. But buy both Glannon books and attend the first and last week of class, and you're fine.

As for D-Rod...I mean, he hasn't taught any classes yet, but I can't imagine him being anything other than insufferable.

You can still review other professor's exams. The concepts in each exam will be similar, though your prof may focus on certain things more than others. My property prof has been at the school for years but didn't put any of his old exams up. We just practiced with other professor's exams.

Also, I think he taught classes at Texas at some point, so you may be able to get exams from there. And lot of profs don't have exams in the bank anyway.

True, but it's the one place people will assume LGBT until told otherwise.

If you buy them all at the bookstore, you'll pay around $1200. Let me show you this great thing called...................."the internet."

You have free Amazon Prime. Take advantage of it. Also, people have had your classes and your books before. Take advantage of them.

In case it needs to be spelled out further for anyone:

On the Bookstore site, click the 'Shop Now - Find your textbooks' link.
Input all your classes into the site.
Click 'View textbook list'
Write down all the ISBNs of the books (perhaps noting which are required and which are just recommended)
Compare bookstore prices to Amazon and Half.com.
Order where cheapest.

I saved about $200 on the required titles by ordering on Amazon and Half (never going below 'very good' condition on Half), and in a couple of cases Amazon had it cheaper new than the bookstore's used price. Only one title (Interactive Citation Workbook for Bluebook) was cheapest at the bookstore.

I decided not to order any recommended titles or supplements until class starts. And the Section 1 Crim class doesn't have a text assigned yet.
