Can someone please explain the difference between standing and ripeness?
My con law professor is really bad at making things clear and when I ask him questions I end up confused. I'm having trouble understanding the difference between standing and the "injury" requirement and ripeness. My prof used the case of LA v. Lyons as a ripeness example yet in many of my supplements it is used as a standing example. Does someone understand this that can explain it a little more clearly?

Amazing. This is so much better than how my prof explained it and makes sense to me now. Thank you!
