Rumor is that at least some spots were offered yesterday.

You'll do very well in Gannett.

It's the name of the building that you will be spending the next two years of your life.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sincere.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sincere.
I sincerely believe your pedantry will serve you well on the Review.

I'm also pretty sure you will meet some incredible people and have an amazing time -- despite the large time commitment. My best friend is on HLR and while the work has taken a toll on him (stress akin to 1L), the personal interactions with intensely intelligent colleagues have made it incredibly rewarding.

Haha, well thank you. I'm sure it will be good experience, although I don't quite know what to expect yet.

Don't worry about it until after final exams.

Yup, seems like rejections went out this morning. Haven't heard of any acceptances yet.

Someone mentioned in another thread that they heard from someone on HLR to expect calls on Monday, 7/15. That seems to fit with the pattern in this thread over the past few years of calls going out on the third Monday of July.

As a point of curiosity- are the calls all made by one person or do they split them up?

They split them up among the rising 3Ls.

Do they leave a message if you can't answer your phone? Stupid meeting! :-(

Thanks! Any idea what the timeline for calls is? Anytime this afternoon?

I know of two friends who got on, calls came earlier though. Based on this thread, it seems like they go out at least until 4pm EST.

Depends on the person. They will continue trying to contact if that is from HLR though.

I imagine we should abandon all hope if we haven't heard? It looks from previous years like there was just one day of calls, except for one person saying they go out over two days. I've also only heard of one person getting a call so far, which makes me wonder...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
