Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sincere.WarioLaw wrote:It's the name of the building that you will be spending the next two years of your life.ph14 wrote:?sayan wrote:

I sincerely believe your pedantry will serve you well on the Review.ph14 wrote:Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sincere.WarioLaw wrote:It's the name of the building that you will be spending the next two years of your life.ph14 wrote:?sayan wrote:

I'm also pretty sure you will meet some incredible people and have an amazing time -- despite the large time commitment. My best friend is on HLR and while the work has taken a toll on him (stress akin to 1L), the personal interactions with intensely intelligent colleagues have made it incredibly rewarding.

Haha, well thank you. I'm sure it will be good experience, although I don't quite know what to expect yet.sayan wrote:I sincerely believe your pedantry will serve you well on the Review.ph14 wrote:Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sincere.WarioLaw wrote:It's the name of the building that you will be spending the next two years of your life.ph14 wrote:?

Yup, seems like rejections went out this morning. Haven't heard of any acceptances yet.

Re: Harvard Law Review and BSA
Someone mentioned in another thread that they heard from someone on HLR to expect calls on Monday, 7/15. That seems to fit with the pattern in this thread over the past few years of calls going out on the third Monday of July.AnonDane wrote:Thoughts on timing for BSA / HLR calls for this year?

As a point of curiosity- are the calls all made by one person or do they split them up?holmes wrote:Calls are going out now.

They split them up among the rising 3Ls.4for44 wrote:As a point of curiosity- are the calls all made by one person or do they split them up?holmes wrote:Calls are going out now.

Do they leave a message if you can't answer your phone? Stupid meeting!

Re: Harvard Law Review and BSA
I know of two friends who got on, calls came earlier though. Based on this thread, it seems like they go out at least until 4pm EST.4for44 wrote:GertrudePerkins wrote:They split them up among the rising 3Ls.4for44 wrote:As a point of curiosity- are the calls all made by one person or do they split them up?holmes wrote:Calls are going out now.

Depends on the person. They will continue trying to contact if that is from HLR though.Jasper wrote:Do they leave a message if you can't answer your phone? Stupid meeting!

Re: Harvard Law Review and BSA
I imagine we should abandon all hope if we haven't heard? It looks from previous years like there was just one day of calls, except for one person saying they go out over two days. I've also only heard of one person getting a call so far, which makes me wonder...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
