Columbia Law School at median....any 160k jobs? Drop out now
A good friend just found out he ended up with a 3.33 at Columbia Law School for the first semester (A-, B+, B). That seems to be at or very, very slightly above the median. He is really worried about what job opportunities wil be available in New York if he ends up staying at the median for the first year. He is really only interested in 160k jobs in New York and gave up a chance to go to a slightly higher ranked school (H or S) for personal reasons--and will be even more upset if he can't find a job out of Columbia. He is even thinking of dropping out before the tuition deadline--though I am not sure how serious he is about that.
Any advice? What prospects does he have if he manages to stay at median all year?

Um . . . don't go to a school unless you're ok with being medianC2012 wrote:A good friend just found out he ended up with a 3.33 at Columbia Law School for the first semester (A-, B+, B). It is a known fact that everyone who graduates from the 4th-best law school in the US with a B+ average is doomed to a life of penury and reception of forcible sodomy. Should your friend find those things undesirable, his best option is to immediately chug Drain-O.
