Haha, I am losing my English as well. Last summer when I was home visiting my family, I was stunned by the enormous vocabulary of ordinary people in the supermarket. Also my accent is becoming weird? Someone asked me if I had been educated in a British school as a child…I was educated in the Midwest.ilovesf wrote:Ditto. Looking forward to that "fresh start" feeling. You know, that optimistic, take-the-world-by-storm bullshit that gets your heart racing, right before reality sets in and you ask yourself why you ever wanted this to begin with.
But I really am looking forward to living alone, having more challenging goals and a schedule that forces me to plan ahead, and the sense of accomplishment I'll feel once the whole thing is over.
